What does our Authentication Service Provide?

The Archives, under the direction of Albert Field's successor, Frank Hunter, can examine your Dali work(s) for authenticity, and issue a report.

The Authentication Service is initiated by submitting detailed informtion about your work to the Archives for our review.

The required information is provided by completing our Authentication Form.

Obtaining the Necessary Form

The Authentication Form is available at this website. Simply click on one of the links below.

Print out the form using the "print" command from your web browser, then complete each of the sections on the form to the best of your ability, and mail the completed form to our office according to the instructions on the form.

Our Fee

Prints: Please note: the usual fee for the authentication of a single print is $195.00. A check, payable in U.S. Dollars and drawn on a U.S. bank must accompany your submission, or you may telephone us with your credit card information. Prices for sets of prints and original works can be obtained by telephoning or emailing us.

Visual Inspection


Prints: In most cases, we will be able to determine the authenticity of your print by reviewing the information and photographs you submit ; we may require a visual inspection, but will contact you after reviewing your informaiton if this is necessary.
Original works :Drawings, watercolors, etc. will need to be physically inspected, - please call for instructions.
